We are thrilled to shout out that we’ll be agenting for the illustration side of multi-talented artist Amy Dresser. Plenty more to come, hold please.

Putting a purchase order into Loni’s hands felt like putting a paper boat I had folded into water for her to captain the ship. Every time, I knew without hesitation, that the boat would stay afloat. Loni would keep all passengers aboard safe. More than that every passenger would be fed, each would feel they were cared for, and they would all have FUN! I also knew that my artist’s visions were safe in her hands. As Kate says, she lifted each of them up! I give great thanks to the love, care and professionalism that she provided on every shoot for all of our artists. Tidepool is a family, and I trusted her with those that I love – crew, artists, agency, clients…Thank you Loni. You are so loved! Brooke

Give It Up For Loni—Please reserve Saturday, May 15, and join us in sending Loni off in true Loni style. We’ll light a bonfire at dusk on a yet to be determined beach in the Bay area. We hope you’ll join our community of friends and celebrate all that we’ve gained in knowing the beautiful Loni Bee. Details to follow…

It’s award time in the entertainment industry where the best-of-the-best give their moment of televised thanks to all those that have helped propel them to the place of where they now find themselves standing. So, not to be undone over here at the Tidepool, we’d like to take a moment to give thanks to the talent that motivates us to get up every day and give it our best. And speaking of agent/artist collaborative, came across this posting over on A Photo Editor – a place where industry discussions always makes for good reading.
And now without further interruptions….
Recently, we asked the Artists to send us an image from their archives that represents the word Love. Results were romantic and personal—from the old-fashioned love letter from Sara Remington’s Grandfather to her Grandmother to the radiating love from within a homeless family documented forever on film by Heimo, we were touched. And certainly if something speaks to you, please inquire as any proceeds from a purchase would benefit a charity of Artist’s choice.

“We had a fantastic experience working with Erik Almas on this shoot and the results (both indoor and out) are stunning. Erik set a great tone during the shoot and it translated into comfortable talent providing the expressions we needed and comfortable clients that were quite pleased with the results. Erik’s portraits blew everyone away with their depth and beauty. Thanks for making this shoot such a great experience. We would love to work with your team again.”

A response from one of our priceless producers, Steve Dolden, after telling him how grateful we are for his skills and his hard work during a specific job.
“It is great working with you all as the Team Effort is inspiring and has affected other endeavors as well in terms of approach. I only wish you two could be at the shoots with the crew and watch Erik rounding out the vision, figuring out the shots, doing a quick comp, and putting the job to bed and at the same time putting the clients mind at ease. That is the back end magic that keeps the phone ringing. I just lay tracks and grease the skids to keep the train moving. I will admit, even with the tough days I do love what I do! Have a good eve, Steve”

Erik Almas came up with the brilliant idea to host his studio, crew, reps & friends to a day of Skydiving in Cloverdale, Lunch in Healdsburg and Wine tastings at Mauritsons & Pasterick. Filiz Rezvan put these events together and Andrew Fornasier captured the day.

There are 7 of us. Each vision different from the others’ vision. Each style unique to each of our names. And each piece, not seen as a job, but as a collective passion we share with our clients. Individually we are artists. Collectively we are Tidepool. Take a moment to view the recent personal and commercial photography of:
Erik Almas, Timothy Archibald, Fernando Decillis, Cheyenne Ellis, David Perry, Sara Remington, and Heimo Schmidt
And of course the Reps,

B, the beauty.
Happy B-day & Cinco de Mayo lady! It seems like not only this day, but this dual celebration was created for YOU! Have a beautiful Birthday and welcome to a fabulous new year full of prosperity, healing and lots and lots of love! Kathryn
