Sara has moved into a new studio with 40 foot ceilings, and the windows…!

Sara’s book ‘Artisanal Cocktails’ is up for an IACP (International Association of Culinary Professionals) award, which is basically the Oscars of Cookbooks if you aren’t a foodie. ;) They are up against three other people from all over the world!
Stay tuned: Winners announced April 4th.

‘Artisanal Cocktails’, published by Ten Speed Press and photographed by our Sara Remington, is up for an IACP Award (International Association of Culinary Professionals). This award generates over 400 entries, including cookbooks from Canada, Europe, Australia, and South Africa. The submissions are judged by an independent panel of 36 food and beverage professionals. Through a strict, two-tier system of judging and balloting, the entries are narrowed to three nominees in each category. Award winners in each of the twelve categories and the Cookbook of the Year, are announced at a gala ceremony during the IACP’s annual conference every spring.
Sara and Scott Beattie, the author, are in the category ‘Wine, Beer, and Spirits’ with two other finalists.
Fernando’s photographs were selected to be featured in the May/June 2009 Communication Arts Fresh section. Be sure to check it out. Currently he’s shooting and traveling in Columbia so if you have any requests in South America from our bi-lingual and fabulous photographer, let us know.

Most photographers would agree how little fun it is to make a “new” portfolio. Well, TIMOTHY HAS DONE IT! Thank you thank you Timothy. We can’t wait to show it off.
